| Having designed
mosaic lamps, mirrors, furniture, and various garden items prior
to this venture, I am no stranger to ceramics. Dish-It-Out
Designs evolved after a long week end in New York enjoying the
many different shops and art galleries along the way. Always
inspired after returning from a trip, I started thinking about
utilizing some of the miscellaneous dishes that were occupying
way too much space in every room of my home. Thoughts kept weaving in and leaving vague images over and over. Since 3:00 a.m. is the best time for creativity to come to life for me – Vwaahlah!!! An idea for flowers using ceramic plates and various other items was born. The signature plate (my logo) was the first to “bloom” and I was more than enamored with the concept. Photography is my forte, however. Capturing nature for over 30 years motivated the creation of my company, Klick! Photography. I have been published in several books and magazines and have designed seasonal lines of greeting cards, posters, and enlargements for clients nationwide for many years. Nature provides beauty every second of every hour. It is quite soothing for the soul, for the most part. As with any artist, our art is ever evolving and Dish-It-Out Designs is where my journey has taken me for this ride. Not sure when I will need to stop and refuel because I’m having too much fun at this stage of life creating and “smelling” my version of the roses!! |
